Repair chronic leak around downstairs ranchslider

Some minor leakage from the cyclone event has been cleaned up by insurer's contractor. They are waiting to replace 1 sheet of wallboard & related fittings and to fair/repaint around the affected area. BUT - the insurer will not pay for the source of the leak to be identified and fixed. The job - identify the source of the leak which occurs when wind/rain drives in and provide a fix. It's possible that the source could be a top floor ranchslider drain located above the affected area. A small section of scotia & ceiling board may need to be removed to access the area of the leak. Also - return the work site to its present condition ready for the insurance contractors to come in and complete their remediation.
