The 1980s shed is a door width wide and deep. It has two sound concrete block walls and one probable asbestos-cement wall which appears sound. 1. Check that the pipes running through the shed are sound. 2. Replace rotten hollow core door and timber door frame. 3. Replace some rotten interior timber nogs. (Possibly replace probable asbestos cement wall panel if it is compromised by rotten interior timber nogs and framing.) 4. Make the interior watertight (maybe line with building paper?). 5. Clean and recoat the shed’s small low-pitched metal roofing which has signs of surface rusting. (The whole house will have new spouting, installed by the body corporate). 6. Rebuild the rotten timber balustrade beside the shed, with a drainage gap spaced away from the house’s brick veneer.
