Job description

General Building
Rodney

Published: 28 July 2022

The scope includes: - Pile bracing as per plan (installing piles / foundations is out of scope) - Constructing the front and rear decks, as per plan - Fixing the subfloor to piles. The plans specify Lumberlok ordinary pile fixing, or retro subfloor fixing. Ideally, we would use ordinary pile fixing using wire dogs, in conjunction with new bearers - Installing fibre cement cladding on western wall to match existing Duroc, and repairing roof (see photo - note, no removal of asbestos needed) - Repairing / reattaching eaves and guttering (assume repair as per photo - but it may be fully reattached - TBC) - Installing beam and post in the kitchen as per plan - plasterboard and electrical already removed TBC - there are new bearers required, as per the plan. These are typically installed by the house removal company, but I would like to configure it to avoid using retro subfloor fixing where possible. We haven't got a firm date for the house move, but it is likely to be the end of October, and would like building work to start immediately after it is sited.
