Hi - i am looking for a LBP to complete or supervise work to be completed on Inland Road in Helensville, likely starting Dec18/January19. The house is a small 90m2 ex military house, which is being moved later in the year. It is a weatherboard house with a clay tile roof. I have just received consent for the project. (the cut in the diagram is incorrect - it should be along the wall between the bedroom 3 and the lounge) Some of the work i need completed are as follows: Framing re-connection: Subfloor - but 125x50 floor joists together, provide and fix 125x50 joist to one side of each cut joist extending from bearer to bearer each side of cut and well nail joists to the new joists. Floor - provide 70x45 nogs and nail to the under flooring where it has been cut. Nail flooring on both sides of cut back down to nogs. Walls - behind the external cladding, where the walls have been cut vertically, provide a double 45mm same width as wall thickness, and nail cladding to this double stud on both sides of the cut. Before installing new studs and joints, provide and fix a splice nog to the top of the bottom plate and underside of the top plate, extending from the stud to the stud either side of the cut, and well nail to both plates. Remove a window and install french doors Remove a load bearing wall and install a beam (2/290 x 45). H1.2 SG8 fixing type B The chimney has been removed, there will need to be repairs to the roof to allow this area to be tiled. Due to the cut, there will be work to remedy the roof. Provide and fix flitch plates to each side of the ceiling posts and rafter. Purlins - but 50x50 battens together, provide a further 50x50 batten to each side of each cut batten, extending from rafter to rafter each side of the cut, and well nail cut battens to the new battens. The laundry floor and back steps were concrete, which has been removed during the house move. The floor will need to be created, incl underfloor framing New walls of bathroom wet area to be lined with Aqualine
