During our inspection throughout the home we noticed that the floor drops slightly in the location of the wall and cabinetry between the kitchen and living area. We also observed that the doors in this area sit out of square in their frames and several cracks were visible on the walls around this area. A laser level was used which confirmed that this area has dropped approximately 15 to 20mm, our laser level also confirmed this from below as the ceiling sags below the wall and cabinets. We would suggest that the installation of a beam and supporting posts is required. In addition this can then become a dividing wall with a built in wardrobe.
