Pet door in wall

We are after a builder to install a large pet door into an exterior wall of our garage (internal access garage) in our mid-90s plaster-clad house. There is an existing aluminium window above our preferred dog door location and we would consider installing a normal aluminium-framed door there and installing the dog door into that if easier/preferred.
