Install a steel lintel over garage door to widen it (Block basement)

We need a builder to install a steel lintel over our basement garage door to support the house above and to remove the block/cement support next to the wall and remove the entry door to make the garage entrance wider. Had an Engineer who did the original structural plans for this property come around and look at this project and he said it would ok to do, we are getting plans under way.
