Home Extension

We are looking to do an extension on our existing home and some other alterations. If we are happy with the plans, to go forward we would apply for consent and start work ASAP. We are open to ideas, but as a guide this is what we have come up with so far (rough drawings attached). -SEE ‘ORIGINAL HOUSE PLAN’- The priority would be to install an en suite, walk in wardrobe and extend the living room. I have attached a couple of ideas. We could be open to a flat roof for the extension. -SEE ‘Idea #1’- -SEE ‘Idea #2’- • Bedroom En suite (3-4m2) / Walk in wardrobe (4-5m2) - en suite - Shower/toilet and basin. - Walk in wardrobe. • Living room extension (~10m2) - Remove storage room. The corner space that we would like to extend to, but not looking to use the whole space if we don’t need to, is 18-20m2. If there is room in the budget, we would like to adjust the front entrance way. We would like to block off the existing front door and move it closer to the front steps -SEE ‘photo A’-. Open the wall -SEE ‘photo B’- to make a small entrance hallway. We will be looking to move the laundry into the garage and using the old laundry room as storage. • Entrance way (existing/3m2) - Remove front door. - Open wall - Add flooring. - Make external walls, internal walls. - New front door. • Laundry (existing 3m2) - Move Laundry into the garage. - Install new sliding door. - All Cladding the same as existing.
