Move wall and add wardrobe
Job description
We are wanting to move an internal wall in our house. The wall currently separates a bedroom and study. We want to make the bedroom bigger by moving one wall and adding an internal wardrobe. Photos show the current study and bedroom and a photo from the outside gives a better idea of room positioning. We work from home and are flexible with when work is done. We would like the construction, gibbing and plastering done. We will organize an electrician before and after to change lighting and electrical fixtures.

Unfortunately final labour costs were 50% higher than quoted (quoted 34 hours; charged 52 hours) despite no change in scope or unexpected issues. When questioned we were told a “job takes as long as it takes”. Took 12 business days to complete for 2 people to complete. Responsive to texts but often arrived 1-3 hours after estimated arrival time. The standard was ok- walls are straight; plastering not to professional plasterer standards. Seemed like nice guys;.
