Reclad external decorative schist

We have a porch wall and a chimney that’s clad in schist stone on a house that was built about 10 years ago. Over the last few years various sections of the schist stone have fallen out and onto the floor. I have replaced about 10 sections over the years but this year about another 10 sections have come away with others looking loose. I want to reinstate the schist stone and replace as much of the stone as necessary to prevent future problems. I have 10-12 boxes of the original schist left from the house build which can be used.
