Baker House extension and plastering

We have a 4 bedroom brick home built in 2010. We would like to look a at the possibility of extending into our front yard to create an additional space for our two children. This would be adjacent to their two bedrooms and would be used by them as a children's living area but would be able to be used as a 5th bedroom in the future by someone else. To create this room we would need to put a hallway in through the side of our sons room with access to his room from this and access to the new room at the end of the hallway. It would be an extension of approx 16m2 to the exisiting floor plan of our house. We would also like to plaster over our bricks at the same time to modernise our house. We are unsure of the requirements for this project and would need someone who could guide us on this project.
