Job description

General Building
New Plymouth

The work is removal of an old brick chimney, sealing/reinstating the roof, and installing a floor. The chimney is behind a gib wall. We will install a gas fireplace, with the back-end in the cavity left by chimney. Installation of the gas fireplace, reinstating the gib wall and reinstating the ceiling can be included in this job, or we are happy to organise this separately. The house is single story, was built in the 1940s, and has a 2700mm / 9 ft high ceiling, and a low pitch roof. The old firebox was removed in the 1980s, leaving the chimney behind a gib wall. A panel gas heater was installed at the same time, which has since been removed. The satellite dish and aerial shown in on of the photos have been removed.
