Allen's building work was very good. The final result was to a good standard. He really is a one stop shop and can do lots extras: piles, plastering, building. Very handy. He's not a great communicator - there were problems around this including him not turning up and not being willing to supply receipts or full invoices or fully finishing. We recommend Allen for his building skills but advise - having good contracts and very, very clear understanding of work to be done and completed.

"BE AWARE OF THIS HOME OWNER, there was a contract in place, the scope of works on the contract was completed, it was a fixed price contract, so need to supply receipts for ANYTHING. Home owner breached contract many times, DIDN'T PAY WHEN IN RECEIPT OF INVOICE. Engaging contractors outside of contract with intention of using money from original contract to pay them without my knowledge. And yes the lines of communication where always open."
