Deck & pergola replacement/renovation
Job description
Replace deck and pergola on north-facing front house. In doing so, significantly uplift the mana, functionality, and aesthetics of this two-bedroom home. Some initial redesign/drafting of proposed new deck has already been completed. However, there remains a bit of scope for a designer's eye to add the "X factor" to what has been drafted (e.g., in regards to a possible replacement pergola that would enhance both aesthetics and functionality). See attached: 1. Two photos showing the existing deck, pergola, and front of house. 2. Two excerpts from the redesign/drafting documentation completed thus far. (N.B., Full document available upon discussion.) 3. Two "style ideas only" photos illustrating just two examples of the _kinds of_ "X factor" that could be incorporated into the current solution. Could practitioners expressing an interest in this job please: - Have experience with this kind of work. - Possess an eye for design, as well as the practical know-how and skills to execute the agreed design. - Understand that this job involves 'finalising' the deck+pergola solution that will meet my requirements and add value to the property, as well as building/executing that solution through to completion. - Be based in the Auckland region. - Be an effective and reliable communicator. In addition to the deck/pergola replacement work described above, there is also scope at this property for discussion around possible architectural/redesign 'solutions' to the existing unattractive flat butynol roof of the kitchen adjacent to the deck. However, if/when discussion proceeds in this space, we may agree to treat this as a separate 'job'.
