workmanship was substandard. Costs well above what was expected considering the shoddy job. The Job started in July(Mr Henman very quick to respond not so quick on updates) I terminated 3 months later as it still needed the painting done on the outside cladding( 3 MONTHS,to do what should have taken a month max) I was foolish enough to pay for all the materials and labour. Garry Henman contacted quickly enough, but always excuses about when the work would be done. I have since had other builders look at the work and hey are shocked at the sub standard effort.This job has now cost me so much more to get it right. Maybe Garry got all his hammers from making decks but he is certainly no builder.I am still shocked and dismayed. I blame myself for not checking him more thoroughly. I shouldn't have taken the hammer system at face value.I have to say all these records should be made public so people are aware.It has taken me months to write this review. I feel sorry it came to this Regards Val

"I disagree with this review 1 There where no plans or drawings so i had to design and build the dinning room. 2 The client would listen to advice and was trying to build this room on a shoe string budjet. 3 She also supplied second hand joinery,which i ended up replacing the window at my expence as the one supplied would have looked hideous.She also substituted materials for cheaper options eg weatherboards. 4 On granting me the contract she was informed that i had going work and the weather was bad at that time of year. 5 The owner had purchsed the house earlier that year and was complaining about the standard of work carried out by these builders. 6 It was agreed on that i would show her all invoices, so i was on a labour only contract. 7 I was renting her basement at the time of constuction but found this difficult and moved out before completion,this may have some bearing on this review. 8 To all protencial clients,i worked on a project in Papakura for 2 years and im happy to supply the project managers name and phone no.
