Pergola built outside frontdoor

We are looking to have the decking outside our front door covered by a wooden pergola. Please see the photos to get an idea of the area. It is not a very big area but has enough space for seating and plants. The area is on raised decking from the front door and a security door that opens outwards. We want to be able to cover two of the sides to block the wind and rain, currently there are bannisters in place. The open side will be from the ramp. Somewhere our cats can get when it is raining and will keep our parcel deliveries and groceries dry. The roofing should let light through but be rain proof. I have included some photos I found on the internet as a general guideline but none of them really fit what we are looking for. A good solid structure is preferred over something that looks fancy. please excuse my measurements : 210cm wide by 210cm length. The raised decking is about 50cm off the ground. The cover/pergola will not cover the ramp. I would prefer the structure is built on its own posts and not from the current decking, but and am not a builder or designer so will take your advice for best way to do it. I work during the day so may not respond until the evening.
