Repair Chimney/Coal Range hole in exterior/interior wall

Hi I removed a chimney and coal range and have a huge hole left where the brick chimney was - it needs repairing as does the floor area where the concrete hearth was. It is on an outer wall and I have a spare solid wood door and door jam to put into the hole area as well ~ the house is a 1901 villa - weatherboard exterior and tounge and groove interior
