Interior Wall for Single Brick Garage (to create secure storage space).
Job description
BUILD A THIN WALL IN GARAGE. Hi I want to securely close off 3/4 of the inside of my garage so I can use it for storage. It's a breeze brick 1970s single garage. I imagine simple materials and it needs to have some kind of access/door built into it that I can padlock. It needs to be fairly easy to remove in the future should I need to. Height of span is 2064mm (to top of rafters in photo) and width of interior is 3015mm. I've had a couple of bad experiences with some tradies (not via this site), so please, please, please only submit if you will turn up at the agreed day and time, not break or damage existing stuff, charge what you quote and do a quality job. (Sorry I have to say that, but it's just my experience!) Thanks.

The end result was good however I found it a bit difficult to communicate with Spiers and Sons, with long gaps of no contact and then when I rang, he would say he would come around in 10 minutes (ready or not!). I was also surprised that the job was sub-contracted out to someone completely different (who was excellent, capable and on time) but the point of Builders Crack is you read reviews of one person's work and someone else turns up. More reliable communication would make all the difference.

"the reason for the long gap in contact is you never told me we had won the contract, when you rang I was going to come the next day but it sounded like you wanted me there and then that's why I said I would be there in 10min.I am a building company who employs several people to work for me like a lot of builders do.they showed up on time because I arranged them to. I only employ capable trades people to do my work. When I met you I told you who was doing the actual work. Next time ring earlier
