Replace and level existing balcony floor

Job description

General Building
Kapiti Coast

We have a first floor 6m*6m deck over our lounge. The deck is butynol covered with fibre tiles. It was installed about 30 years ago and is now leaking into our lounge which is below. We would like someone to quote for the removal of the existing tiles and substrate and replace with a leveled ply deck to be covered with a suitable waterproofing system such as Butynol. We have located a Butynol installer but he is unable the reinstate the floor as it requires builder resources he doesn't have. Once the floor has been replaced he will be able to cover it if you are not a certified butynol (or similar) installer. The leak is now visible though the ceiling below so getting it fixed in the next month or two would be great, but for the right person we can wait a bit more. As there is a balustrade surrounding the deck I don't think scaffolding would be required. The tiles may be (not confirmed) asbestos based and a separate cost for its removal is acceptable if testing confirms it to be so.
