Renovation/Extension

Our 1900s approx built 2 bedroom weatherboard home is too small, we are going to to demolish(ourselves) the existing bathroom and laundry, then need a builder to extend the house out by approximately 4m the south wall and 6 m north/east wall, and within the new floor area put in a new kitchen,north facing lounge, bathroom, laundry and a third bedroom(at the back where the current lounge is), plus a carport, and re roof the entire house, and likely some new windows too. We do not have any original house plans, we need a builder that has an architect they like to work with that can do our new plans, and we wish to reinvent the character of the building, its on a lifestyle block in Lornville Invercargill. We have a modest budget for this, (so not looking for a top high end builder, but a good bloke with some good ideas) and we wish to do some finishing ourselves, we are looking for a builder that is happy to do to lock up/lined walls stage, but not necessarily a completely finished build. The extension is a simple rectangle shape added on to existing house. We have already put in a new effluent field and underground powercable to the site. Our finance is approved so Im keen to steam ahead and find the right buiider now :-)
