Job description
We have two sections of flat roof and the areas beneath have significant water damage. The areas beneath the flat roof require repair, and on proper diagnosis may even require demolition and rebuild . The two areas of flat roof are exactly the same and can be seen in the photo attached

Job cost more than twice the expectation set upfront and the estimate provided. Despite being prompted if costs were on track, there was no disclosure of the additional costs. First visibility of additional costs was at the end of the job on final invoice. No consultation was allowed regarding alternate solutions or cost mitigation options. Due to the lack of transparency, honesty and acceptance of responsibility for significant cost over-runs, I would not employ BIM services again.

"Unfortunatly the homeowner set their own cost expectation based on 'similar works' after declining our professional service to fully assess & scope requirements prior to works commmencing onsite.
Subtrade quotations with written approvals by the homeowner were provided before the works started. Disclosure & visibility of increased costs were pointed out upon the presence of unknown asbestos being deteted, & an independant engineers report detailing the increased scope of work was provided."
