Job description

General Building
Hutt Valley

Existing chipboard flooring 1.6m x 2m needs to be replaced with floorboards. The native timber floor boards will need to be removed from the lounge and put into this entrance way to match up with existing floorboards in the hall. While there is lots of space underneath the house this won't be necessary as it's all top floor work. There is plenty of floorboards in the lounge to cut out, but only what's needed should be cut out. After removal and install in the entrance way, the lounge will need to have new flooring (chipboard or other) in preparation for carpeting. All underfloor insulation exists and should not be disturbed where possible, and where it is, just needs to be reinstated. I can get it sanded and coated if you don't wish to do this bit. The photos include pictures of boards already finished. The boards in the lounge to be used are the same as these ones (profile etc) but are not polished. There is also additional flooring work and a standalone outside deck to be built but I will likely post that job seperately. Check photos for more....
