Extensions for single story 1970s weatherboard house: Build out to eaves to increase size of room - increases floor area by about 0.6 square m. Have building plans and the money for this now so just need reasonable builder's quote. Ok for this job to be done any time over the next few months. Extend lounge which includes extending floor and iron roof, as well as alterations to front entrance - increases floor area by about 8 square m. Possibly includes demolition and removal of tile deck and whatever is underneath it (unless you are allowed to build on top of it) and definitely includes building wooden deck. No plans exist and need advice from builder on cost/feasibility of best options at this stage. If we can finalize plans/quotes then want to go ahead some time after March next year when I have the money to pay for it.
