Garage Conversion into self contained studio

Hello. We are very keen to convert our stand alone garage into a studio with bathroom and very small kitchenette (no cooking facilities) with the idea it can be used mainly for bnb accommodation but also suitable for my father to come and stay in having his own space. We would love to talk over our ideas with you and see if we can make it work. We have spoken with a couple of turn key construction companies and also with a draughtsman who have all mentioned that the roof will need lifting as the height in the garage itself is just a bit too low. Ideally we would like to get hold of a very capable builder who can help us through the process with good contacts within the trades that we might be able to call upon if the tradies we know are all busy.
