Fix wooden support structure beneath bull-nosed verandah on villa.

I've recently had my daughter's house reroofed and I've been told that there is something that needs fixing, re the support structure beneath the bull-nosed verandah. I'm sorry that I can't be more specific but no-one seems to know exactly what needs to be done. I don't know how large or small the job will be, or what the likely cost will be. I don't know either whether it might be hazardous if it's not fixed! Thanks, Helene.
