Decking extension to be built on a one level home,

Currently is a smallish patio deck from aluminium French doors that open out, it’s a bit poverty looking, I’ve attached pics in red where I think the new area extensions would be good, unless you have other ideas. Some sort of a privacy screen/vertical slat system or corton steel screens, maybe oriental trellis in a more thicker slat to make it modern
