I have a student rental house in Dunedin. The house is very old and has a very high stud in the lounge which is proving hard to keep warm. I am looking at inexpensive ways to do this. One option is to lower the ceiling to approx 3.6 m from the floor. It was an old 4Square and has very high stud height. I would like a quote for lowering the ceiling inc support beams etc and lining with gib I guess, then stop gib and paint. Also like a quote for 8m of curtain track for installing curtains to keep warmth in. If possible you could quote on curtains too. I have looked at Trademe and can find inexpensive carpet and underlay. Please include a quote for laying the carpet if possible. Last but not least I would like to install a heatpump of no less than 8KW to keep the room hot. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards Joe
