Bottom bearer replacement

Have discovered some rot on the corner bottom bearers in my sons room, l haven’t pulled the gib off but can see one bearer has rotted away from the corner and the connecting corner feels soft so most likely will need replaced. Will need new gib done to finish, was thinking to attempt these repairs myself but wouldn’t want to get stuck halfway. I would guess one or two days for an experienced builder, happy to assist with labour, my son has fold out couch so he won’t be inconvenienced. Would be after a quote for starters please contact if interested, I work 9-2 but can be most likely be available .
