I have a small bathroom (approx 240cmX180cm) which currently has a shower cubicle and pedestal basin, and a large cupboard which holds the washing machine. I want to knock down the cupboard and remove the shower cubicle and install a bath with a shower over, including a bath screen and lining and new taps and shower (ones suited to my unequal low pressure system). Also a vanity to replace the pedestal basin. The washing machine still needs to stay where it is, but either left open or enclosed in a smaller cupboard (the current one is too large). Also considering relining and insulating the bathroom walls (not sure what is there at the moment) but this is dependent on cost and whether it needs doing. The flooring is currently lino which will need to be replaced. Also a heated towel rail and a light/heat/exhaust system. The ceiling is quite high (house is a 1928 bungalow type with high ceilings). The toilet is in a separate room, but would also like to install a small basin in there at the same time if this is practical and not too costly (one of the small wall hung types). The window in the bathroom actually does not open to the outside but to the porch/study area which must have been enclosed later in the house's life. If I was to reline the bathroom the window may be better to be removed and boarded over? (There is another window higher up that goes outside.)
