quote for aluminium windows

We have two small windows, one of which has sashes that need to be replaced due to rot. I would like to get a quote or a rough idea of how much it would cost to replace both windows with aluminium windows. The current windows/frames appear to be the same size which is roughly 58cm x 100cm (WxH). The intention, if not too expensive, would be to leave the outer surround as wood (the sill etc), and just rip out the current sashes/glass etc (this has already been done by a previous owner in our laundry which is right next door). Both windows are on the ground floor and easily accessible on both sides. We have no idea whether building consent etc might be required for this type of job. Thanks in advance
