Brick chimney

Hi , We have a chimney that is closed off between the kitchen and old dining room, we would like to open up the space for more open plan (1930's Bungalow) We are can do some of the finishing ourselves but would need professionals to remove the chimney stack and chimney breast , assuming it all has to go, or could it stay above the roof line and be supported?? There was a doorway into the room from the kitchen which we decided to close up, because of the chimney, to give us more wall space, but hope to make it open plan Single storey home Thanks Sharon

Will and the guys did a great job removing the old brick fireplace, super tidy and efficient, they even stacked and tidied the good bricks I could use for another project! Would definitely hire W J PARTNERSHIP again if needed, they were awesome to have in our home. Highly recommend
