We have a conservatory that needs repair at the point at which it joins the house. Our structural engineer has provided us with a PS1 including plans of the repair and will check the structural connections prior to concealment. We need an experienced LBP to acrow-prop the conservatory, remove the screws and timber it attaches to and then install a new, much stronger timber plank and screw the conservatory edge to that. We then require a PS3 from the LPB. We intend to pay in stages and this would be the first stage complete, after which we have a number of renovation jobs that include repairs to and replacement of weatherboards, upgrading the connection of a decking surround, an extension to the porch roof, installation of a ceiling and framing for and installing trellis, two bathroom shower replacements, gutter repairs, etc. There is a fair bit of work and we are after a builder who is both skilled and cost effective. The site is up a steep driveway, but the LBP will have access to a parking space and a 6x6 garage/workshop for materiel storage and fabricating out of the weather.
