Old metal chimney
Job description
I have an old chimney that was used for a gas fire. I have changed to a heatpump and want the chimney removed from the roof and the roofing iron replaced. From inside the house, I have sawn off the chimney to ceiling level and stuffed newspapers into the hole, and removed the chimney proper. What is left is the chimney guard from ceiling level to over the roof.

Very friendly, prompt and tidied up well after the job. However, there was some confusion over the charge. He quoted $160 online but changed that to $200 when he arrived, saying the $160 was only an estimate.
