Putting in Supporting Joists under bathroom

We have been advised by the person who did our building report we require additional timber support under the shower. We don't know anything about this sort of stuff but I've attached below what was said by the building inspector: "An additional timber support is required under the shower as a floor joist has been joined in this location – the new timber should be installed beside the joint and span between the bearers." We currently have foil under the house but are wanting to upgrade to insulation, and we would ideally like to get this done before the insulation. Thanks!
