Weather proof a porch

My son's tiny flat has a porch arrangement but it only has security - netting as a "window" and door to keep anything out. I am wanting to glass or perspex it in to make weather-tight so he can do art and crafts out there. Also needs a bench across the length of it to do art and craft on. I really have no idea of what this is worth. It has a concrete floor and is attached to the side of the flat
