removal of bricks about foundation for air ventilation

We are on the hill and have some small water under - runners that go beneath the house. This makes the basement (which isn't that deep) pretty damp and musty, even with lots of black plastic. We just require removal of bricks and placement of grills around the house, to allow for airflow. Cheers, Gretel Roberts
