New garage required of approximately 9m (wide) x 6m (depth) with an attached (RHS) awning 4m (wide) x 7.2m (depth). Gable or flat roof to garage. Depending on costings we will look at 12m x 7.2m three bay garage as an alternative to proposal instead of 9x6 with awning. Side awning to attach to existing carport (existing caravan to be removed). Rear of awning to have end walls to close in the rear and attach to existing shed at rear of carport. Awning to be used for boat storage with a farmgate door. Garage to have: Concrete reinforced 100mm floor; 2.7m stud height - wrapped but not lined; 2 x sectional roller doors 2500 wide (automatic) in bays 1 and 2 (left and centre); 2 x opening windows on rear (north) wall --- x opening window on side (west) wall 1800 x 700; 1 x person access door on side (east) wall under awning; Cladding to be greyfriars colorsteel 5-rib or similar to match house - potentially small amount of 140mm cedar to match house; Wind and Snow rating for Central Otago; Minimal amount of ground levelling will be required. Garage will have electrical power provided by owners electrician; Completion ideally required by end of October 2022. Photos show caravan to be removed and existing carport where awning will be positioned, general location of where garage will be (left of caravan) and house to show matching of garage.
