We require a detailed and accurate quote for these works. Our upstairs wall adjacent to the staircase requires repairs. When constructed it appears that the GIB lining/plaster was installed incorrectly and as such the top of the wall slopes outwards at one end (the gap between the edge of the wall and the doorway is larger at the top than the bottom). The wall framing itself appears to be constructed straight when measured with a level from inside the bedroom, however this should be confirmed. It is difficult to tell exactly what has gone wrong here so a site visit to complete the quote will likely be required. The bedroom doorway shown in the photos also requires straightening.
