A timber soffit has fallen out of the eaves of our 1920s bungalow, it may have been damaged when the new roof was put on recently. I would like to understand the cost of replacing the soffit (so sourcing, painting, installing, and any associated work, sundries, etc...). The broken bit is approx 800mm long, although I appreciate that a longer length may be required to fit it in properly. The timber looks to be tongue and groove. The house is single storey and there is a concrete driveway immediately below the soffit, so access should be easy. I would like an itemised quote, so I can understand relative cost of labour, materials, any call-out fee, etc... Ideally, I would the job completed within the first week or so of February.
