I’ve had a small (5x2) study flooded during the recent weather events. I’ve pulled up the carpet and underlay, however, the insurance assessor has found there is moisture that has crept up into both the gib in the walls and they may need to be replaced (along with the skirting). Furthermore, the substrate is an old tar sheet-like product that looks like it may need to be lifted and replaced prior to the carpet going down. I'd need an assessment on this including quote to replace if required. Scope: 1. I need all the walls rechecked to see if moisture is still a problem - if so then it will be replacement of gib up to that point. Skirting seems OK. 2. Assessment and potential replacement of substrate with a more modern system 3. Replacement of lining in the entire closet. Right now looking for a quote for this job, to get approved by the insurer before starting work. Let me know if you’d like more photos.

Phenomenal work by Andy and the team. He was incredible about waiting for my insurance to come through (over 6 months!), did an amazing job and was great to work with throughout the whole process.
