Replace sill on door, remove and fill rot to lower jam, stop water ingress
Job description
Need to replace split sill. remove rot from lower door jam and prevent water getting in during storms. Water is getting in during extreme weather when the wind pushes rain between door/jam, we also believe it is coming in through the sill which is split. The door is fibreglass and in good shape, however the door sill is split and most probably needs replacement. There is some rot at the very bottom of the jam on each side of the door. Also need to consider some weather strip or alternative to reduce the direct weather getting pushed between jam and door Unit is tenanted with a very reasonable tenant, just need to build in some flexibility to ensure everyone schedules are considered As is it an external door exposed to the weather will need to be completed on a clear day.

If only all contractors were like Matt at Precision Doors. Matt turned up when he said he would, charged what he said he would (even though a couple of unexpected surprises), did the job he was asked to do and an outstanding job at that. Oh and even cleaned up and took all the old materials away.
