Old deck removal and new deck built

I have a 1970's brick unit on a sloping section with a wooden deck at the front that goes from the front door and adjacent french doors and meets with the path to the house on one side and the fenceline on the other. The deck is old and some of the decking has broken (hence the plywood). I've repaired it before but given the age it's time to replace it. I don't know whether the piles will need replacing or can be built on. I need the old deck removed, and the new deck constructed. The existing deck is 5.25m long. It has a step up to where it joins the unit - the main piece is 1.47m deep, then the step (60cm deep and 15cm high) runs along the entire length. So the total depth is just over 2m. I was happy to lose the step if it made sense to increase the length of the deck slightly to meet the path - but this will increase the height of the deck at the other end and as there won't be a railing onto the yard that may be too high for safety. I'll need advice on the appropriate decking material. Next to the deck, along the left front of the unit, there is a garden area (mainly bare dirt). This has had a problem with water run off from the unit uphill and I'm planning to dig out that garden area and make it smaller, clearing the deck edge. Especially as tenants have so far been uninterested in growing things there. I'll do this myself beforehand. The unit is currently tenanted, however the tenants are moving in 4 weeks and the deck will need to be finished before we can rent. So if possible I need this done in the next few weeks.

Communication was fast, friendly, and clear. They provided a quote quickly and were able to start the work in the timeframe I needed. Work was done efficiently and their time estimate was spot on. Roydon was knowledgeable and helpful and the whole experience was much easier than I'd dared hope. I've been showing prospective tenants the property and they've commented on how nice the deck looks.
