Demolish garages and rebuild carport

Replace existing 1950s garages with a code compliant carport structure with three carport spaces, each with lockable, waterproof storage, involving • Engineering, design drawings, consent process • Demolish existing structure (check for asbestos) • Redo foundations • Build a treated wood deck platform • Build a carport structure on top • Enclose the base of the structure with horizontal slats, with “gates” to give access to under garage space for extra storage • Safety rail on the sides to meet code • Paint structure to match the grey colour of the building • A coloursteel roof to match the dark offset window colour on the building. • Lockable storage solution suitable for outdoor use. Considerations: • Engineering reviews needed: geotechnical and structural • Council requirements and building consent process/driveway may need replacing /camber of driveway and entry to carports This job is for three apartment owners acting jointly so does require good estimate/quote paperwork for approval. Bills will be paid in equal thirds by each owner, this may require separate invoices for each owner's entity. Hoping to be done by summer if possible, subject to council approvals.
