Job description

General Building
Auckland

We would like to finish/line one side of our dry insulated downstairs double garage to make it more of a rumpus room. I'm talking to a plumber about putting in a shower and kitchen sink but it will not be a separate unit. All the old shelving would have to come out and a new back wall installed with a platform floor going back about a metre (no digging out of ground under house or foundation work). A new door to the underhouse storage area would have to be installed on the other side of the garage. All walls and ceiling would be lined (wall insulation only), the garage door removed and a ranchslider installed. A sliding door and small wall would be installed between the garage and rumpus room. Finishing of walls and new carpet to be laid on concrete floor.

Good job, a few minor issues but overall went well and very happy with room created.
