Front entry ramp/stairs

I currently have a short ramp leading up one side of my entryway and stairs on the other (see photos). The ramp is too steep but there is not enough room to extend it on that side without encroaching onto the driveway which is going to be relaid and widened at a later date. I want to move the ramp to the other side so it can be longer and not so steep, and swap the stairs to the side the ramp is currently on. I also want to extend the shelter around the door to provide better rain protection - either just extend the roof above the door or extend both the roof and the side wall, whichever you think is best. I will supply the kwila decking and the roofing iron. Thanks
