bring down internal wall, re-gib lounge and hallway
Job description
Hi - our builder just dropped us as he was busy with another job, our plans are finalised and consented, need to bring down a wall to create open plan lounge/kitchen, and install beam in ceiling. involves some pile work under house in Mt Eden, so lots of rock, plans consented and finalised by engineer. Then Re-gib lounge and hallway, install new ceilings in lounge and hall way, paint lounge and hall way, and hang front door. Need job finished by 20 September as having a baby then, please help! quotes and good references will be required first by registered builder but we do need to start ASAP. Previous builder told us it was a 2-3 week job.

Stuart and Sue were amazing, I was due to give birth in 3 weeks and they pulled in, worked hard, and got the job done beautifully, on time and to budget. They are a lovely personable couple who went to great lengths to overcome hassles that came up ()i.e. dealing with a terrible engineer and draughtsman - in the end Stuart designed solutions himself which the engineer adopted and put on paper for us for council!) Next time I won't bother getting other quotes, will just go straight to Stuart and Sue - thanks guys!!!
