Basement

We require remedial work to be completed on our cottage villa in Grey Lynn. The first of a number of jobs required is to complete what we expect to be a 3/4 day job on our basement area. The size of the basement is appx 3.3 x 3.5m2. It requires digging out (by hand) to a depth of 350mm. Then needs to be levelled. Hardfill and compacted. It may possibly need some support around the existing piles. Once this is done, polystyrene insulation and a new 75mm concrete floor needs to be poured. Existing framing may need minimum remedial repair, insulation in the walls and then relining. It will be lined with hardboard or plywood possibly. It does not require any stopping, filling or painting. Want to keep it quite hard wearing and not highly finished. The priority is for better workspace with lower floor level. And dry and comfortable. This as mentioned is the first of a number of jobs required. We would need this job completed over the next week to 10 days at the most.
