I own several rental properties and need a reliable handy man to fix adhoc issues from time to time. Right now I need someone to fix the following at two rental properties. Property 1 (Avondale).Three issues 1/ Water is coming through the ceiling in the kitchen, on inspection of the roof it is coming through where a flue (maybe coal range) had once existed. Looks like it needs a new sheet of corogated iron over the area where it was previously patched. 2/ The fireplace hearth has fallen in. It's a concrete slab about 1mtr x 300 which had cracked and has now fallen through. The firplace itself looks fine but needs something to replace or prop up the original one hearth slab. 3/ Cut down large yuka plant which is pushing against the chimney (this might be why the hearth has slipped) 4/replace a flooring joist (about 1mtr only) in front of a doorway in the back porch. Property 2 (Herne Bay) 1/ Garage door not closing fully 2/blocked shower shower drain 3/Gate not locking Ideally I'd like to form a relationship with someone who could handle all the odd jobs needed on my rentals from time to time and/or know who could handle the more specialised jobs as well.

I haven't started the windows job I discussed with Keith but he was great to discussed the job with and offered solutions that would ultimately save me money and time. I'll wait to do the job until spring but his communication and helpfulness really needs to be noted on here. Very friendly and helpful person.
