Construct brick border round lemon tree

Currently tree is planted in half wine barrel which is now rotted and breaking . The barrel is set into a concrete path. I would like to replace barrel with brick surround. I have a large supply of used bricks. I would appreciate someone who could either do the job or give on site advise if this could be a DIY project. Thanks for considering this request
