Cut Hole for Door in Brick Wall

Our deck is supported by brick foundations. This space is a cavity, which we would like to get into for storage, as well as drainage reasons. I would like a door hole cut into the brick, and whatever needs to be done to strengthen the resulting hole, i.e if putting in a lintel or brick frame. Ideally the same person or business could put a step into the path to allow for the path to be flat at the entryway of the door.
